Plant and Animal Cells: Cells are the fundamental unit of life. The cells that constitutes plant body are called as Plant cells whereas cells that form animals body are called as animal cells. As these organisms perform different functions, therefore they can be distinguished on different criteria. Some of the differences are listed below in the table :
